Think Failure Or Success And You'd Be Right Either Way.

I want to explain that the concept of success and failure is all down to you, it's completely your choice. These are two opposites that we really would be better off not focusing on. I try not to focus any attention or vocabulary on failure and its opposite, success. The matter of failure or success is only your choice because, other than being social conditioned to accept either one or the other, you have many more positive aspects to accept and focus on. We all define failure in different ways. How do you define these words, especially failure?

Look back in your memory when you think of failure, what comes to mind? I find that if I would look back on experiences in my life and label them all as failures It could surely raise my blood pressure and lead to a negative mind and perhaps a more longing state of depression. This is your mind in action and you create your own reality regarding success and failure.

Past Experiences.

Looking back on past experiences, nobody has told you to label them as failures. Have you tried evaluating the most positive aspect to come out of those experiences. What did you gain and learn? How did you grow and improve? There is always something to be gained from a so called failure. To view future experiences with this new mindset is a real confidence boost. To know that success is obtained through each and every experience and failure is no longer in your vocabulary, imagine what you could achieve. You will possess more strength and confidence to simply act and try new journeys and life experiences.

I know that it's not easy to simply delete any past experiences that you feel were failures, but you are able to look back and ask yourself the same questions mentioned earlier, You did learn something, you did improve something and you most definitely became more experienced. So why would you ever want to judge any experience as a failure. Learning and growing from a past experience could never be deemed as a failure.

After all, you are the only one and can ever be the only one who chooses your attitudes regarding failure and success. History is full of successful people that have experiences what we might call failures and they have never ever quit. Most notably of course, Thomas Eddison

Thomas Edison

Thomas Edison, of course was the first person to make the electric light bulb commercialy available to the general public through his improved invention. His hard work was littered with difficulties and this is his own views on failures and successes.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

Show me a thoroughly satisfied man and I will show you a failure.

Never Quit

He never quit his goal or labeled his difficulties as failures and I would like to encourage you to do the same, to banish any terms of failure from your vocabulary and instead replace it with learning, improving, development or growth.

Most of us see a goal or judge success only on an end result but I think it's better to view a goal first of all with an admirable attempt and some goals are actually achieved along the way and not nearly on an end result. This would make success not very dependent upon achieving a positive outcome as there is a degree of success in the actual attempt or taking part. You don't have to think of simply failure or success but if you do you would be right either way because it's your own attitude and view created only by you. There's learning and development in everything we do and below are some quotes about failure and success. My personal favorite by Michael Jordan is first.

"I have missed more than 9000 shots in my career.
I have lost almost 300 games.
On 26 occasions I have been entrusted
to take the game winning shot......and missed.
And I have failed over and over and over again in my life.
And that is why....... I succeed."
Michael Jordan

“You are now at a crossroads. This is your opportunity to make the most important decision you will ever make. Forget your past. Who are you now? Who have you decided you really are now? Don't think about who you have been. Who are you now? Who have you decided to become? Make this decision consciously. Make it carefully. Make it powerfully.”
Anthony Robbins quotes (American advisor to leaders)

“There's no such thing as failure - just waiting for success.”
Serenella

John Osborne quotes (British Playwright and Producer, 1929-1994)
