While working on the foundations of my life coaching practice, there is a vital issue of ethics and code of conduct. At this time, there is still no governing body for life coaching so I see it as a duty not to bring this fantastic profession into disrepute.

For more information regarding my principles and values, please take a look at my coaching charter.

Introducing Brian El

Friday, August 29, 2008

It is a great pleasure of mine to introduce to you all an out of this world musician, Brian El.

Bryan was born in West-Flanders, Belgium and grew up drawing & painting. His first keyboard opened up a stunning new world for him. A few of Bryan's biggest influences were Paul Van Dyk, DJ Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren.

Bryan discovered the relaxing side of music and started experimenting with new age. Below is a wonderful track "Road To Atlantis",which you can listen to. It's typical of Brian's music which takes you off to another world.

This new age, ambient sound is healing and relaxing. Follow this to see more of his amazing videos and songs.

Life Coaching Explained, Part 2.

Sunday, July 6, 2008
As well as allowing someone to view their personal issues from an outside perspective and assisting the client to realize issues in their lives that need attention, whilst helping them to create their own behaviors and solutions.

Life coaching is a combination of therapies and training skills so I view life coaching taking many shapes and forms. When I will work as a life coach I will truly listen to the client and provide the best and most honest feedback possible.

I can personally and visually see a life coach and its role as a friendly ear, teacher, a motivator, a mentor, business consultant, task master, spiritual guide and even a trusting friend.

To teach various life skills such as personal life skills, business, crisis, parenting, social and relationship skills are fundamental teachings of a life coach.

As a personal note, what other professions on this earth could possess so many important and meaningful roles, and make meaningful changes to a persons life, other than that of a life coach.

It’s simply an honor and great pleasure to becoming a life coach, as a life coach strives to make his contribution to individuals, businesses and communities.

So, this is my definition of life coaching, to help individuals or businesses with managing their time, career or business, and a number of personal issues.

As coaching is generally between two people, the coach and client then it's my duty to help them achieve what they want in life. It's about getting the client to understand they hold the potential by themselves that they can truly have, be or do anything they desire. I, as a Coach want to convert dreams into reality.

Life Coaching Explained, Part 1

Sunday, June 29, 2008

I see life coaching as an exploration of what people are truly meant to do and achieve with their lives.

Along with many others, have always had a certain deep rooted thought that there simply has to be a better and more meaningful purpose and way to utilize our time on this earth. For many instances, a life purpose may not be found ourselves. So, I think this is a fundamental meaning and valuable purpose of life coaching.

As life coaching is experimental in nature, I think it is an indispensable tool for the continual quest for personal development. I love to learn new strategies to enhance life and it's something I've been interested in pursuing on my own website dominikboecker.com, which is a site in its early stages.

In my case, assisting someone discover their life purpose, or helping them choose the most meaningful way to a better future, would be the most meaningful aspect of a life coach. This I see is a major benefit of someone working with a life coach.

Finding Motivation to Exercise.

Monday, February 11, 2008

Most of us possess a wish to become healthier and fitter but it's a lack of motivation that is holding them back.

Excuses

Is it our busy lives? 'I don't have the time', I'm sure you've heard it before? We can all make the initial effort to exercise for the first few days but then why do we get bored to easily? What happens when you get too knackered to keep a constant regime? Don't worry, chances are you aren't alone.

Many people simply find it difficult to find that motivation to continue a prolonged effort to stay in shape. Some other excuses you are most likely to hear are that it's either to hot, cold, or simply I'm plain too busy or tired.
